26-09-2009Fido, now renamed Lillie, was unfortunate as her owner passed away. She stayed with me for 5 weeks. Considering her age and sad loss, she had boundless energy and loved nothing more than to chase her ball repeatedly! A very loving dog, who thankfully landed herself the perfect forever home with a lovely lady and her 8 year old Cocker Spaniel. I recently met up with Lillie and her new owner and am pleased to report that she is an extremely happy dog with a twinkle in her eye! A very happy ending.

01-09-2009Missy was looking for a new home as her elderly owner found her difficult to handle. She was an extremely active dog from the minute she arrived, and had all the other dogs worn out! So it is understandable her previous owner found her challenging! Luckily for her, she found the perfect home, where she is adored, and has settled in amazingly well.

01-07-2009Ava arrived as a three month old stray. An absolute character, who I fell in love with. Luckily she went to a lovely , dog mad, friend of mine, so I get to see her quite often.

01-06-2009Now renamed Bart, this amazing pup was going to be put to sleep as he was very nervous. He would make your heart melt. He made a huge turn around and by day two, was playing with my dogs, and looking for affection. Careful handling was required and an understanding new owner. He found this understanding through a fantastic family who fell completely head over heels in love with him and vice versa. I was very happy to see this guy go to his new home. I will be catching up with him soon, but his new owner has reported great things about him.

Foxy
01-03-2009Found straying in Virginia, Cavan. Foxy was at the side of the road for three weeks before we managed to gain his trust and take him home. He seemed to be waiting for someone to return! Foxy was quick and responsive to obedience training but quite aggressive with male dogs. After 5 weeks, Foxy went to Monaghan SPCA and then on to Dogs Trust in England. I am very grateful for their help.
