Hi, welcome to For Dog Sake, dog rescue.
My name is Jennifer. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to rescue dogs and help find them their perfect home. I have over ten years experience with companion dogs and obedience training. It is only recently with my move to the country, that I have been able to fulfil my dreams.

I try to keep my numbers low but that is not always possible. It is hard work , but extremely rewarding. I rely on public donations and this year gained a €3000 grant from the Dept. of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. I also have supportive Vets and their lovely staff close by.
My aim is to find new loving homes for unwanted, abandoned or injured dogs and give them a second chance at life. I take in dogs from the many pounds who are next to be put to sleep through no fault of their own. Any dog being owner surrendered must sign a form and give a donation towards their upkeep. If the dog is not neutered or vaccinated, the donation must reflect this.

So far most dogs have found lovely homes within days, some need weeks of training and others need plenty of time, love and rehabilitation.
